Rights
Managed Images (RM):
1. Rights
Managed (RM) images must be licensed by contacting us by phone 800-289-7468,
212-481-1190 or email sales@peterarnold.com
2. Upon completion
of an agreement to license rights-managed images we will provide you with
access to the high resolution file for the image(s) being licensed.
3. We will
issue our invoice which provides all of our Rights
Managed License Terms. The license for the use of the image(s) will go
into effect upon receipt of payment of our invoice
4. Ongoing
clients can request ongoing high resolution downloading approval which will
enable you to search and download high resolution files without having to
contact us each time you wish to do so. Contact sales@peterarnold.com
or call us at 212-481-1190 to inquire about this option. All high resolution
downloads will be subject to our Rights Managed License Terms. (link to Rights

Royalty
Free Images (RF):
1. Rights:
All Royalty Free sales are subject to our Royalty
Free Licensing terms
2. All RF
sales are final upon completion of your download of the digital file.
3. Transactions
are completed via credit card.
4. Buy-on-Account
privileges are reserved for accounts that we maintain a "Preferred Vendor"
relationship with.
5. General
- Login or
register to access our Lightbox or Download Manager Options.
- For credit card purchases of RF images - you must first select and purchase
all RF images before they can be downloaded
- All downloads are completed through Download Manager.
- Images appear in the Download Manager in the order in which they were moved
there.
- Group selection/deletion options are available in Download Manager
- Once you have obtained high resolution download rights for selected RM images
and have either purchased or are granted Buy-On-Account privileges for selected
RF images, the Download Manager will permit bulk zip downloads of all selected
files.
6. Download Process
- Add images
into your Lightbox or directly to Download Manager
- Select the desired RF images in the Download Manager. You can either select
images individually or select all of the images of one type by using the "Check/Uncheck
all RF Images" link
- Click the License link
- Select the size you wish to purchase
- Review and approve our license terms and enter a tick mark in the box provided
indicating approval of our terms
- Click the Purchase button.
- If you have Buy-on-Account status you will now be able to begin the download
process.
- If you are purchasing via credit card you will be brought to PayPal where
you will have an option to proceed by entering your PayPal login information,
registering for PayPal or providing your credit card information.
- Upon completion of purchase you are brought back to the Download Manager
for image download.

image and add to Download Manager
2. Select
a file size then review and approve our license terms and enter a tick mark
in the box provided - then
click "Purchase"
3. Proceed
by entering your PayPal login information, registering for PayPal or providing
your credit card information.
4. If
you have Buy-on-Account status you will taken right back to the Download Manager
to begin the download process.
5. After you have
licensed the image either through Paypal or your Buy-on-Account there will
be Download links available as well a a tick box to use our zip download feature

- What
is PayPal?
Paypal
is a service that allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through
credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without sharing
financial information
- Why
can't I download RM & RF images simultaneously once they are placed in
your Download Manager?
As we service
both editorial and commercial markets, our rights managed images must be licensed
via Buy-on-Account. Accordingly, you will have to purchase any selected RF
images prior to downloading a combination of RF and RM images
- Why
aren't the images I added to your Download Manager sorted by license type?
Sorting the
images by license type will slow down the web sites ability to quickly place
each image in our Download Manager.
- How
can I obtain Buy-on-Account privileges for RF?

Bulk Downloading Previews from Search Results page
Download as
many previews as you need. Simply check-mark each thumbnail, then click
one of the Batch Download buttons (at the top or bottom of the page). It's
that easy. You will either get watermarked or unwatermarked files, depending
on your authorization level.
The screenshot
below shows the top Batch Download button, with two thumbnails marked for
zip download. Login is required for this function.

Editbox
Your Editbox
is a full-page workplace designed to let you customize your selection by
reordering and moving your Lightbox thumbnails. Clicking on the Maximize
icon on your Lightbox bar opens the Editbox. Use the slider bar to enlarge
the thumbs for closer inspection. Drag-and-drop your selects into the order
on your spec sheet, or any order you prefer. When you return to your Lightbox
the thumbnails will keep the order made in your Editbox- even when emailed.

Resize
Editbox Thumbnails
Use the slider at
the upper right corner of the Editbox to adjust thumbnail size.

Reposition
and organize your Lightbox Thumbnails
Use the slider
at the upper right corner of the Lightbox to adjust thumbnail size. Drag-and-Drop
a Thumbnail by clicking on its caption, then moving it into position,
and releasing.
The screenshots
below show the left side of the Lightbox with an enlarged thumbnail being
moved. The slider button is at 3/4, indicating degree of enlargment of
these thumbs.

Resize
your Lightbox
Drag-and-Drop
the bar to change the Lightbox size. The screenshot below shows the Lightbox
opened to near full-page size, displaying 2 rows of thumbnails inside.

Lightbox
Sharing
You
can invite any other registered users of our website to work in your
Lightbox with you. This is not just sending the Lightbox. The other
users can actually add and delete images with you while you work.
To
invite
another user, go to the Lightbox Manager from the link in your Lightbox,
click "Share Lightbox," and enter the Username (Login Name)
of your invitee. Call or email them with the invitation. When they
login, they will see your Lightbox in brackets in their list. To end
sharing, return to the Lightbox Manager and click the "End lightbox
sharing" link.
Theoretically,
you can share your lightbox with every registered user of our website
(at the same time).
Rollover
Previews (and other Display Options)
Turning
on (or off) the Rollover Preview images on the search page is done through
the Display Options, accessed through its link near the top of the page.

Note: Words
entered into the search box retrieve from the following fields:

You can search for pictures
by entering one or several words. To get good results we recommend using shorter
words and avoid using plurals.
You can use the following
characters as helpers:

Several words used without
these tool-characters will be searched for inclusively (an AND-search).

Download
Manager & My Download History
All downloading and
usage of imagery is subject to acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
In the Download Manager, you can
get hi-res and layout files either individually, or in groups via our Zip Download
feature. Access the Download Manager through the link at the top of every page,
or from the menu selection inside the Lightbox.
Downloading
Download single files by clicking
on the desired resolution in the center of the box.
Download multiple files in the
same action by marking the desired resolutions in the "Zip Download"
check-box column on the right. After marking the files, click on "Zip Download."
You'll be taken to the Download page, with the download link.
Usage Notes
Please consider adding
a note on the intended usage in the text box. Click "Add Note" to
enter the note into our system. If all downloads are to be used in the same
project, clicking the lower button will add the text to all photos in the queue.
This note will be sent in an email to Peter Arnold.com when you download the
file.
My Download History (see
Screenshot below)
See a record of all your downloads
by clicking on "My Download History" on the upper right of the Download
Manager.
Your Download Archive is in the
same format as the Download Manager page. Currently the dowloaded files are
displayed with the date the file was added to the Download Manager shown above
the thumbnail image. Soon this date will be the date downloaded, and you will
be able to sort the download records into ascending or descending order of download
date.
Please
use the back button on your browser to return to Download Manager.

Troubleshooting
Downloads on the Download Page
If nothing happens after
you have clicked on the download link, please use the following method:
With the cursor on the download-link, a long mouse-click for a "Mac" - or a
right-click on a"PC" - will open a dialogue window. Choose "save as" or "save
link as" then start the download.
Some operating systems and/or browsers will change the names of the pictures,
deleting the ending ".jpg", or transforming it into ".html". If this happens,
you will have to rename the picture after the download, for example: change
"980203LR01.html" into "980203LR01.jpg".

you are still having trouble after trying the above procedure***
